Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a new colleague with a technical background who is passionate and motivated towards delivering best quality and continual improvement. This is a one-year fixed-term opportunity, where you will be responsible for sustaining and implementing Quality processes such as, but not limited to, incoming inspection, calibration of equipment, process control, customer and supplier complaint handling, Safety policies and processes, and auditing of Quality processes.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.  

  • Control and maintain all documents related to ASME & ISO certification
  • Inspect, test, and coordinate with ASME U stamp Pressure vessels manufacturing, heat exchangers, TPI and client inspectors.
  • Planning and conducting ISO and ASME inspections periodically, conducting various internal and external audits.
  • Coordination with ASME inspectors, client inspectors, TPI‘s for various inspection/testing activities.
  • Preparation of test plans, procedures for welding, testing, planning of all project documentation and timely submission of the same.
  • Periodic meeting with sales /production team members for production/Manufacturing activities.
  • Coordination with all claim handling process with factory and reporting various nonconformances related to our PHE’s, solving nonconformance issues with factory, Coordination with factory for obtaining various inspection/test reports.
  • Preparation of design and drawing for ASME U stamp heat exchangers.
  • Handling customer complaint/non-conformity related to plate heat exchangers.
  • Maintain and control of all welding related process, procedure, and control of welding personal records.
  • Preparation of Quality dossier as per project requirements, procedures, in process reports and maintain photos records.
  • Monitoring daily production activities, incoming/outgoing material inspection, witnessing pressure test of PHE’s.
  • Material/painting inspection at third party shop.
  • Conducting and witnessing non-destructive examinations at shop and field.
  • Coordination with sales/production team for the purchase for Plate heat exchanger critical components.
  • Preparation, control and monitoring plate heat exchanger nameplates design and approval of same as per project requirements.
  • Maintain and control of all equipment/instruments calibration records.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Technical degree in mechanical, electrical or electromechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in quality / production / process maintenance or related technical position.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Experienced with mechanical measurement and electrical test equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001, ISO14000, and OSHAS18000.
  • Experience in auditing of the above-mentioned standards preferred.
