 Summary: Clifford Chance is one of the world's leading law firms, helping clients achieve their goals by combining the highest global standards with local expertise. This role will be part of a highly regarded and collaborative HR team. This role will focus on the full employee experience from recruitment and onboarding to induction and wellness. You will have responsibility for sourcing suitable candidates for all practices and business areas across the Middle East region, (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh). This role will also manage the recruitment for the Middle East SRA Training scheme.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing and Mapping:

  • Proactively source suitable candidates for a variety of roles for all practices and business areas across the Middle East region
  • Conduct candidate searches via social media, Revael, networking, LinkedIn, application tracking system and CV databases and other sources
  • Review direct applicants through the talent management system
  • Submit shortlists of suitable candidate with the relevant group HR stakeholder within an agreed time frame
  • Build a pipeline of relevant profiles for future growth and keep abreast of the market
  • Champion the internal referral scheme to promote direct hiring
  • Promote the attraction and recruitment of Emiratis in the region
  • Support the team on Ad-hoc projects

Recruitment Process:

  • Manage the recruitment process with the candidates and internal clients in an efficient manner
  • Work with the relevant group HR stakeholder to prepare job descriptions and liaise with internal clients
  • Run the role mapping activities and recruitment authorization process
  • Work with the HR expert to advertise roles, shortlist candidates, arrange interviews, and prepare offer letters
  • Manage a positive candidate process ensuring each candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, leave a positive impression
  • Maintain review and report recruitment metrics and data, and make recommendations to continuously improve recruitment processes and reduce costs and turnover
  • Manage the internal headcount administration
  • Work on a number of global recruitment and sourcing projects, relating but not limited to the sourcing of candidates

Secondments and Mobility:

  • Managing the internal secondment process for new and existing secondees with the global mobility team
  • Promote and advertise client secondments on the clients secondment jobs board
  • Manage the client secondment process including secondment costings, approvals and clearance
  • Manage the incoming and outgoing trainee secondment process

Employee Experience:

  • Design, develop and deliver the induction process for all incoming employees proactively managing the coordination and delivery
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all incoming employees working alongside the HR Expert
  • Maintain regular contact with employees with wellbeing check-ins on a regular basis
  • Partner with the resourcing team and be a point of contact for any HR queries and raise with the team when necessary
  • Ensure new employees are able to seamlessly work both from home and from the office maintaining inclusion and collaboration in teams
  • Work with the HR Business Partner to support and develop the Regional Wellbeing program
  • Lisaise with current wellbeing providers and keep up to date of global market trends in the wellbeing space
  • Closely manage the wellbeing budget

Graduate Recruitment and Marketing:

  • Manage the annual Graduate recruitment cycle in conjunction with the London recruitment team
  • Manage the marketing and maintain a social media presence in the Graduate space
  • Assist the HRBP in preparing and delivering offer paperwork to successful candidates
  • Run assessment centres in Dubai for Middle East Interview stage
  • Maintain and update the status spreadsheet for graduate scheme
  • Engage with future trainees through the pre-training contract period and oversee the related processes
  • Attend recruitment events with the HRBP and assist in recruitment related marketing
  • Assist HRBP with the local seat allocation process
  • Manage related schemes such as a schools program and Emirati training program

Experience required for the role

  • 2 – 3 years previous experience in recruitment within an agency or internal direct sourcing team is required, ideally in a fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Experience managing the 360 recruitment process with clients and candidates
  • Demonstraed ability to conduct candidate searches and make direct approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage tasks with limited supervision
  • Energetic, collaborative, proactive and delivery focused
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Regional experience or experience in legal markets is a plus
  • Adaptable to change and willing to learn
  • Ideally degree educated and fluent English speaker
  • Able to build relationships at all levels
  • Exceptional IT skills with particular expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel. Any experience in Workday and Taleo would be advantageous.
  • Established ability to regularly prioritise to ensure the provision of an excellent service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
