Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Reports to: Regional Digital Manager

Department: Corporate Marketing

Location: Al-Futtaim Malls Corporate Ofice

Job Purpose

To prepare and deliver all digital assets to the correct technical, design and content specifications, ensuring that Service Level Agreements and the digital marketing objectives of all our assets within the Group are met.

Key Accountabilities

Malls Website and Festival Rewards
  • Works closely with Marketing Team to update content on the Festival City Mall’s website and Festival Rewards and any affiliated microsites, and provides copyediting/proofreading assistance. Departments are primarily responsible for developing and generating content, but this role provides collaborative and proactive oversight and guidance to streamline process.
  • Develops and implements editorial calendar and create the overall content strategy and integrating Festival City Mall’s communications and marketing plans and e-communications and social media schedules.
  • Works with Marketing Team to maintain Website and App events and offer calendar.
  • Keeps up-to-date on best practices for digital communications and on the forefront of trends, technology, media and best practices in managing web content and responsive design.
  • Works with the Marketing team to identify potential areas of improvement and recommend implementation strategies.
  • Will debug issues that arise with the performance of the website and app in collaboration with the IT Department or relevant vendors.
  • Monitors site traffic and helps scale site capacity to meet traffic demands and performance expectations.
  • Ensures all web contributors are trained and up-to-date on site’s functionality and content update process.
  • Using Al-Futtaim Malls branding guidelines, oversees graphic standards for Website.
SEO/SEM and Email Marketing
  • Suggest and write content, based on best practice, including SEO, to engage our key audiences, increase brand awareness and drive leads across our product offerings.
  • Monitoring and advising on best practice technical SEO techniques for the development team to implement
  • Developing and adopting outreach strategies to build quality links
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in the Digital Team, Media Relations, Social Media, Policy, Insights and Marketing, to advise on digital content opportunities, in line with strategic objectives.
  • Champion SEO/SEM best practice across Al-Futtaim Malls, including training stakeholders on tone of voice, brand and writing style, to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Ensure that all resources are utilised effectively and responsibly, through a culture of continuous improvement which delivers value for money and quality service standards.
Digital Wayfinding and Advertising
  • Coordinate with both team members and tenant to make sure all our digital advertising screens are up to date.
  • Ensure wayfinding content are correct and delivers the correct directional instructions to our customers.
Content Strategy
  • Develop and rollout an annual content strategy for all asset’s digital platforms such as:
    • Website
    • Wayfinding
    • WIFI
    • CRM
